So, after 3 1/2 fun-filled weeks, Kana went back to Japan and now I’m out looking for work again. I knew that the “real world” would rear it’s ugly head again, but I guess when you’re with a wonderful girl like Kana it’s easy to think that that day will never come.
We had a great time seeing Oklahoma City, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Tulsa, and St. Joseph, Missouri, just to name a few. I think I gave her a good whirlwind tour. Kana remarked that visiting Yokohama after her vacation was like reverse culture shock. Is this city-raised girl turning into a country girl? Only time will tell!
I’m trying to post as many pictures as possible on my Flickr site, so check back for more updates as they become available. I think I only have one more batch to get up and then I’ll be up to date.
As for the job hunt, I’ve actually already got a part-time/temp job editing video. Yes, I’m using my expertise in a job, but I’m going to have to continue the search for a full-time job that’ll allow me to support Kana and myself. If anyone out there in internet land is looking for a good cameraman/video editor, please feel free to drop me a line.
Sounds great! I wish you more of great times together.
Have a happy Easter.
