I’ve been giving a lot of thought to finally ending RandyLane.org lately. I got an email the other day telling me that my yearly hosting plan was getting ready to expire. I starting thinking about why I started this page in the first place, and if it should be something I continue paying for. I guess this started as a way to capture my ideas at different times in my life so I could come back later and compare them. Not only that, but it was a good way to keep my family back in American up on all the life changing events in my life overseas. Now that I’m back in American, the second reason goes away, so I’m left asking myself if it’s worth $60 a year maintaining this website. On top of that, I haven’t been very good about keeping it updated, and the hordes of spammers have completely crippled my comments feature.
